Only "FRESH" German and South Austrian hides are used for this fabulous program. Hides which come from great distances are preserved with salt and the removal of the salt requires huge amounts of water. This is why "Fresh" hides are preferred - close to the tannery for processing.

Water is one of the key elements in tanning, so any means to reduce water usage is ecologically sound. We use "time" ratter than harsh "accelerant" chemicals in the tanning process again eliminating materials which need to be removed from the water cycle. Only the highest quality dyes and water based solvent free finishes in the coloring and finishing stage are used.
