ABOUT THE ALEGRIA HANDPAINTED TOTE -
The base of the bag is crafted from Italian double sided, full grain leather. The exterior is lavender with a pebbled texture. The interior reveals the smooth burgundy reverse of the same hide. Clean, structured, and intentionally minimal.
The round wooden handle anchors the design. Warm in tone and smooth to the touch, it adds an organic contrast to the leather and gives the bag its signature character. Paired with an adjustable leather shoulder strap, the tote moves easily from hand carry to shoulder wear.
The silhouette remains flat by design, yet it expands to hold the essentials and more. An exterior slip pocket with a push snap closure keeps the front functional while allowing the artwork to flow naturally along the lower edge.

This is the handpainted Alegria Flat Tote, created as a one of a kind expression of joy.
Each floral detail and the words “en joie” are handpainted directly onto the leather in my studio. No stencils. No prints. The flowers are layered in deep violet tones that sit quietly against the lavender, creating movement without overpowering the design. “En joie,” meaning in joy, becomes both message and mood.
