The Lola in Navy and Tweed took shape over about 6 hours of hands-on work, cut, stitched, and finished piece by piece over the course of a day in my studio. This colorway came from the last of a tweed bolt I had on hand, so once it is gone, I will not be able to build another one exactly like it.
This bag is built from a navy pebbled leather, chosen for its rich color and durable texture. I recommend keeping it away from prolonged direct sun and moisture, and wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth as needed to keep it looking its best.
A few care habits to keep this bag looking its best:
~ Store it upright, stuffed with packing material or a bag pillow, so it holds its shape and does not get crushed over time
~ Keep it away from direct sun and heat for long periods
~ If it gets wet, let it air dry naturally, away from direct heat
The Lola goes back to 2016, and remaking her has meant more to me than I expected. This navy and tweed version came together with a fabric I will not be able to source again, so this one is truly one of a kind. I hope whoever carries her feels a little bit of that same spark I felt making the original.
