I built the Mariposa Traveler Tote for the days when one bag has to do it all. Work, weekend, or a quick overnight trip, this tote carries it with room to spare.

This Mariposa Traveler Tote starts with tan Adventure leather and an Encanto Embossed leather accent. From there, it's yours to make your own. Choose your lining color and your hardware finish, and I'll build your bag to match.

Up front, you'll find a large exterior pocket secured with a flip lock closure, perfect for the things you want within your reach without digging through the whole bag. Inside, a zippered pocket, a welted slip pocket with snap closure, and a strap with a swivel lock to secure your keys on. Carry it by the top handles or clip on the adjustable crossbody strap when you need to be hands free. Either way, this bag was made to move with you.

I design and build every Daylin Skye piece myself, start to finish. The Mariposa Traveler Tote takes about eight hours of hands on work, over two days, from cutting the leather panels to setting the hardware and finishing every edge.

I paired tan Adventure leather with Encanto Embossed leather for this Mariposa Traveler Tote. This Adventure leather will show wear, age, and patina with time, and it only gets softer the more you use it. To keep it looking its best, clean and condition it regularly with a leather cleaner and conditioner. Every piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in my Southern California studio.

I make each Mariposa Traveler Tote to order, so no two builds are exactly alike, and that's part of what makes it yours. I love how this one turned out with the tan Adventure leather and that Encanto Embossed accent. Take your time picking your lining and hardware.
